Taksin – Out

Despite winning Sunday’s snap-election PM Taksin announced that he would not be accepting the position for the next term, yesterday. Shinwattra said that the party’s dissapointing results in the election was the reason he would not take the position. This came after a meeting with HM the king. A loss of votes came as a result of a boycott of Taksin’s recent dissolving of house. Instead of voting for smaller parties, many marked a X no vote in Sunday’s polls.

Taksin still serves out the length of his term, until a new PM takes his place.
