Newsline Rules

It’s only fair for me to say, since I’ve hardly been nice in the past about it, that Newsline on channel 11 last night was excellent. The show seems to be getting better and better and I’m really happy to see it do so.

Check it out weeknights from 9:30pm.

ADDENDUM: Newsline have informed me that the voice at the airport is indeed provided by one of their newreaders, Honey (her name).

    Would certainly agree with you there Ben that Newsline has certainly got remarkably better over the years. Great not having to suffer the face of the infamous ‘hilariously happy hatted’ Jennifer Su on me TV each night.

    Actually though, Newslines is also one of the funniest programs on Thai TV with a delightful variety of witty presenters putting on their fanciest performance of the English language possible.

    As for the chicky who does the restaurant reviews, now she’s not bad, in every way.

    Newsline has improved and I enjoy watching it. I do hope their times get a bit more regular, as it seems to start at different times each night. But it’s good for me to practice my English.

    I think the presenters are quite good, I like the guy K. Natakorn and I really like Jennifer Su, she presents the news very professionally and I like to listen to her voice. However I haven’t seen her lately. I also like the voice of Edward, he is quite humorous and he has a nice clear voice, and there’s a very pretty girl on air with a name I can’t remember. But you can see I’m a big fan and follower for some time now!

    It seems we’re all getting something different out of Newsline but at least we can all agree that it is getting better :)
