rain, pretty boys and water
it’s raining in bangkok.
i don’t know if it’s normal for it to be raining at this time of the year.
i noticed how this week hasn’t been as terrible–weather wise. the sun doesn’t even really come out in the mornings.
elections are coming up, i haven’t gone back to my parents’ house yet this year so i don’t know who’s running against who in my district. but in the yannawa/sathorn district, i’ve seen khun korn’s posters. and i can’t help but thing “what a waste”… when i think of him dating that silly kob suwanan actress. what a waste. dammit.
the pretty boy mom luang is also running in the yannawa/sathorn district, i heard he used to be a race car driver–and a not very good one. people at the office keep on talking about him, and i haven’t noticed his posters yet.
hahaha. and then there are the chuwit holding the axe/hammer/some-sort-of-tool posters… i don’t know what i feel about him. during the bangkok governor elections, i felt like killing everybody who voted for him, and then while they were tallying up the results… the urge to kill wasn’t there anymore. i’m just complacent about him now. is that the right word? complacent? i laugh a lot though when he gives interviews.
and there’s a new political party? the artist’s party? i heard it on the radio a couple days ago.
what’s a good drinking water delivery service in bangkok? it’s a bitch to carry litres of water home from the supermarket. i want it delivered. in one-litre bottles. or those nice small singha glass bottles. water. not beer.
It’s strange for raining in this year of year.
But i like Chuwit, although he is quite dirty but he is straighforward. I think that people vote for him because of this.
I know what you mean about the water. I HATE having to carry all those bleedin’ litres too. All I seem to see here is having those water dispenser thingies with the huge bottles which get delivered to your home, but I too would prefer to get just 1 litre bottles, as we just don’t have the space, not to mention they’re not exactly aesthetic looking.
i’m not sure what the minimum for delivery is, but topps in the basement of robinson sukhumvit 19 delivers groceries. good to stack up on large bulky stuff like water, toilet paper, etc.
Let’s put this to rest once and for all: Chuwit’s wielding a bloody sledgehammer. I’m guessin’ it’s a visual metaphor for: Yo, I’ve got hos (i.e. hookers) on ma side and I’m gonna clean house, OR I’ll blackmail yoz asses…shizzle? (ebonics for emphasis).
He takes his inspiration from Peter Gabriel, no doubt…
“I want to be your sledgehammer
Why don
