Ong Bak trailer on Apple site

It’s here, it really is.

It was a bit weird seeing Thai movie Trailer in the middle of hollywood stuff, not bad kind of weird though. This made the second Thai movie trailer on Apple Trailer site, The Other one was Suriyothai.

gotta be a bit proud, take your mind off origami thingy ~_^

There’re two versions, but both don’t show anything much beyond action sequences, understandable since people woundn’t be able to understand what being said in the film anyway, and subtitle or englishdub would be too silly and distracting for a 30 seconds trailer.

check it out, even if you saw the movie before (I must admit I didn’t see it, too busy with Lord Of The Ring) and cheers. ^^

It never ceases to amaze me how slow and resilient the USA is to picking (and not just remaking) up and releasing decent “foreign” movies. Like Hero – the way it’s been talked about in the States is like it’s solid gold discovered in Seattle or something. I saw it in cinemas here in Feb 2003. And now Ong Bak. Hey, in two years they’ll be raving over House of Flying Daggers!

Still, good to see that they do, eventually make it. Eventually.

I read an article about how parts of the sequel are being filmed in Australia. The sequel to Ong Bak, that is aptly titled Ong Bak 2 (what an inspiring title).
