Tanks are still surrounding the government house. Phones seem to still be working. A cerfew has been said to be in effect. Nobody is sure what happens tomorrow. Do police still have jurisdiction? Are schools and government buildings running?

The rumours say that everything will be fine, but to avoid large gatherings.

ASTV, the cable news for The Nation has been the only news available. It just lost all audio feed about 10 minutes ago. Seems the audio has been cut but pictures are still coming in of the tanks on the highway.

The general telling us that the takeover is only temporary has been switched with a woman who is repeating the speech over on all channels.

The images of childs paintings and songs are ironic. The songs are about “60 years of free life under our king.”
