Thai Sex

A recent global survey by Durex (the condom company) has revealed some interesting statistics about Thai sexual habits, such as:

  • 67% of men and 44.5% of women aged between 21 and 24 use porn during sex
  • 51% of Thais have unprotected sex
  • 28% have ‘one-night-stands’
  • 16% have extra-marital affairs (which is apparently lower than the national average of 22%)
  • On average, Thai people have sex twice a week
  • Just over 50% favour sex in toilets, with cars being the next most popular choice
  • 16.2 is the average age Thai people have lost their virginity (which is higher than the national average of 15.9)
  • The most popular days for their ‘first-time’ are Valentine

    I’m not sure what it might be about Loy Kratong that would encourage sex, but whatever turns them on!

    you’re referring to the global averge. How can Thailand’s average be higher or lower than the national average?
    your comprehension constantly baffles me.

    I’m assuming that when the article referenced the ‘national average’, as it did a couple of times, it’s referring to some kind of internal (Thai) survey results that are not associated with the Durex global survey. The figures stated are the local results of the global survey.

    THAT GUY, we cannot expect Mr Harris to make sense – after all he carried the entire weight of the Bangkok Metblog on his shoulders. It’s not like it has any other authors, so we should be willing to cut him some slack.

    Oh, but then again. I do not think you can have “local results of a global survey”. If you take a poll of 100 people, you cannot just use 10 results and say it is a real example.

    Anybody that went to a good school would tell you that the ‘national average’ you are referring to is in fact the global average. The true national average is in fact 16.2 years.

    Please visit your nearest English school and enrol in lessons asap.
