Consequences

Since my last post about the email doing the rounds containing photos of a person, who is allegedly the daughter of a Thai princess, in multiple compromising postures, I’ve received an email from a person offering to pay money for the photos. These photos would then be used on their website, making them money.

I am absolutely horrified that there are people who hear about something as embarassing as this email must be to the person involved (regardless of the fact that there is no proof that it is indeed the person whom it is believed to be) and consider it a way of making money!

Let me make this clear. Even if I had the photos, I wouldn’t send them to anyone – especially someone like you!

As an aside, it’s interesting to note that the reason most Thai people believe that it is her in the photos is because she grew up in Europe. It’s a fascinating leap of logic and shows much about how Thailand considers the rest of the world.

Also shows how Thai logic is flawed, when they fail to realize that the young generation here is not much different.

I think you will find that this particular person grew up in the US.

There are lots of photos of Thai actresses circulating on the internet which are a product of someone’s imagination and a certain Adobe program.

I seem to be poorly informed lately!
Honestly, I regret ever bringing this up because any of my Thai friends who find out I wrote this act shocked, even though they are forwarding the email to everyone they know and can’t stop talking about it. Interestingly, it’s these same people who tell me that she grew up in Europe! I guess some people won’t let the truth get in the way of a good story.
