subway

there was a subway crash this morning around 9am.

two trains crashed into each other around the thailand cultural centre, and caused one of the trains (i think, or both… ) to derail. i’m not sure if anybody died in the accident, but there are a lot of people injured – with dislocated shoulders and broken heads. how do you say that in english? cracked heads? bleeding and cut up heads?

the train engineer dude is still stuck in his compartment.

Report: 50 Hurt in Thailand Train Crash

    Associated Press

BANGKOK, Thailand – An accident on the Thai capital’s subway system injured more than 50 people on Monday, a radio station reported.

Few details were immediately available, but several injured passengers told Traffic Radio that their subway car was parked at an underground station in central Bangkok and about to leave when it was jolted forward, apparently by another subway car, Traffic Radio said.

Police and rescue teams were racing to the scene of the accident.

I just thought I should let everyone know that you can all stop worrying, because I wasn’t on the train! (I know it’s in poor taste but I can’t help it!)

Anyway, I haven’t tried the underground yet and this is furhter proof that I’ve made the right choice to unintentionally avoid it!

Well, my friend was on that train! but she is safe.

She told me that there is “Bang” and everyone fall. Afterthat somebody are bloody, some are knocked. She then walked to next bogie and got out of the station.

It was lucky that the train with passengers wasn’t actually moving when the other train slammed into it. That would’ve been awful.
