December 5: Drop of the Paper Cranes

So tomorrow a 100 million paper cranes will be dropped over three provinces. And those cranes can be traded for food. And someone will get their education paid for by the Prime Minister. The government–the people that run this country–want to solve problems through origami.

Did I fall asleep one day and wake up in “The Twilight Zone?”

It pains me today to be Thai and I hope the world does not remember us for the riots that arose because of origami.

I thought they were being dropped on Sunday, 5th?

Interestingly, I just heard from my parents that this is being reported over in the UK, showing children in the south making nets, all excited and happy and children in the north, all excited and happy making cranes.

At least someone is happy about this “event”.
